Our client, a leading electronics manufacturer, is looking for a Junior Electronic Engineer to join its growing hardware team. This is a hands-on, lab-based role working on the testing, validation and prototyping of connected products.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate electronic hardware, including the wireless performance of connected products.
• Build, assemble and debug prototype circuits and PCBs.
• Support design validation and EMC pre-compliance testing.
• Work closely with hardware, RF and firmware engineers in modern R&D labs.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic, Electrical or Electronic & Computer Engineering.
• 2–4 years’ experience in an electronics or hardware engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators or spectrum analysers.
• Good soldering and PCB rework skills, including small components.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to wireless technologies such as BLE, Wi-Fi, Thread, Matter or Sub-GHz. An RF background is not essential, as training and mentoring are provided.
• Embedded C or scripting experience.
• An interest in prototyping and new product development.
